Relationship Scared
What is the point of dating if you're not going to get married? Also, does a perfect relationship scare you?
I recently asked my single self, what is the point of dating? I didn't come up with a legitimate answer. If we get so angry when someone leaves you or cheats on you but yet we know in our minds we're not going to marry them, then why do we care so much? More importantly why do we even start dating? Is it because of sex? Is it because of the feelings of happiness we may get? And if so, why do we not want to marry them? I thought of this after my ex basically cheating on me and dumping me for another guy (karma kicked her back so it's all good). I think the reason why she didn't want to be with a great guy like me was because she was scared of being with me for a long time, so she ended it as soon as she can, the worst way possible. I'm just guessing though. I'm just guessing things went too perfectly. Is that true? Ladies? Would you dump a guy because things are going too perfect? Would that scare you into thinking you may never have the ability to leave?
My friend ive always enjoyed and looked for sex and i wont deny and say i havent thats just a biological thing we cant escape especially in the teens. But i also have ALWAYS wanted a relationship with a person never casual sex and i have always wanted to be married just looking for a person i would eventually be with forever. I found her and have been married a good while now. You also have to keep in mind no relationship is story book perfect with horses sunsets and happy endings. Real life has a way of kicking you right where it hurts at the worst times. But its the moments when you are happy and keep things held together that make life worth living. Ups and downs will happen and sometimes people make dumb decisions weather they be scared and sleep with another person because they werent sure if you were the person they wanted to be with forever or somethin like that. People arent perfect and neither are relationships.......but you can make them work and be happy.
