The Art of Tarot Reading by Jackson Swift

The tarot card is said to have originated in the 14th and 15th centuries in Northern Italy. Tarot cards were originally used for playing games but were eventually turned into a material or tool for divination. Among the first practitioners of the tarot card was Jean-Baptiste Alliette.
The reason why there are some people who do not believe in tarot card reading is that they are skeptical about how a simple tarot picture gives us an idea of the future. What they do not understand is that tarot card reading does not only rely on the tarot cards’ picture, but also on the person being read and the environment surrounding that person.
A person who seeks for answers to his questions, a set of personal questions, and a reader who reads the tarot cards and provides the answers are what are needed in a tarot card reading setting. So how is tarot reading done? Firstly, the seeker shuffles the deck of tarot cards given to him. Then, the seeker chooses a few cards randomly. He makes sure that these tarot cards are chosen out of his own free will and without any influence from another person. He then hands over these tarot cards to the reader with the cards facing down. This process is called the spread.
There are different types of spreads. And each spread represents a certain type of reading. The Celtic cross is used for general reading. However, the spread to use should not be the option of the reader but of the seeker. This is to ensure reliable, honest, and genuine results.
The results of tarot card readings can be very interesting. Almost every aspect of one’s life can be asked about. There are times when the seeker asks about his family issues. On some occasions, tarot card reading can also be about work or career. And even more, seekers also ask about their love issues. The tarot card reading results can either be positive or negative. And among the more negative and scary reading happens when the seeker gets the death card. Actually, the death card is not completely bad. The word death here does not exactly pertain to the end of one’s life, but it could be the end to anything about a person including a hobby, a relationship, a career, or even a pet.
Tarot card readings have been proven to actually influence a person and his daily life. But he should never let it rule his life. Life happens as it should and no tarot card reading can ever overpower the Divine Will.
